We hope you and those dear to you are keeping safe.
With everything that is going on right now and having consulted with the local authorities and safety advisors, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the entire Sunrise City 5K series until 2021.
The new dates are as follows:
Coventry – Friday 7th May 2021.
Bristol – Friday 21st May 2021.
Peterborough – Friday 4th June 2021.
Sheffield – Friday 11th June 2021.
Nottingham – Friday 18th June 2021.
Birmingham – Friday 2nd July 2021.
Leicester – Friday 9th July 2021.
Derby – Friday 16th July 2021.
Your entry has automatically been moved to the new date so you do not need to do anything.
If you can’t wait until next year to take part and get hold of your shirt and medal then we have teamed up with our valued partners at Virtual Runner to enable you to take part virtually this year and receive your items in the post.
If you would like to use this option, then please email events@perfectmotion.org with the name you entered under and the email address you entered with and we will send you a code to use on the Virtual Runner website to get a free virtual entry.
Please note that if you take up the virtual option, it will cancel your entry in the 2021 event.
For the virtual event, please register by 19th June and you will then have the whole of July to complete a 5K at a time that suits you.
If you ordered a vest as an addition to your entry, then this order will automatically get transferred over to the 2021 event. With the current situation the order did not get placed so we will not have these available to post out this year.
As with lots of other businesses out there right now, this situation has had a huge impact on us and we are doing everything we can to keep going so that we can continue to deliver these events when we all come through the other side.
While not seeing you all in 2020 is very difficult, the thought of it being there in 2021 is something very positive to hold on to.
